Wānaka to Christchurch direct service
Sounds Air fly every day with 12 return flights a week, using their turbo-prop Pilatus PC12 aircraft. It has a comfortable, pressurised cabin that will be able to take up to nine passengers at a time on the 45-minute journey between Wānaka and Christchurch airports.

Short and long-term (21 days) parking is available and is free of charge.
From Thursday 19 November, face masks/coverings will be mandatory on board domestic flights following the Government's recent announcement, regarding community transmission.
Sounds Air strongly encourage customers to provide their own masks/coverings for travel and will continue to have masks available at check-in if required.
While New Zealand remains at Alert Level 1, Sounds Air will continue their current operating procedures across all of our scheduled flights.
- Thorough cleaning and sanitisation between flights.
- Hand sanitiser available and social distancing encouraged during boarding and disembarking.
- ID/proof of contact details required to enable contact tracing if necessary.
